At SPT, we work with individuals who may belong to one or more groups often labeled as “minorities” or “marginalized communities.” Our practitioners either identify with one or more of these communities themselves or have received additional training to support them effectively. A common thread among these groups is the experience of being labeled by others. At SPT, we encourage you to share your identity and the communities you belong to, so we can better understand your unique lived experience. If there is an identity or group not listed below, please let your clinician know during the consultation or intake process.
